Reuse is the act of reusing items that are still suitable for use. Recycling is the processing of materials or products that are no longer used into raw materials that can be reused. Say no to single-use plastic cutlery, plastic straws and other single-use plastics. Avoid non-recyclable plastics if there are alternatives. +

In my opinion, there are many things i can do to reduce plastic waste for the sustainability of the earth, namely by implementing the 5R lifestyle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace, Replant)
- Reduce
Reduce the use of an item or human behavior pattern that can reduce waste production, and not engage in excessive counsumption patterns. some examples of reducing the use of plastic materials are by always bringing a jar or container that can be reused, bringing a drinkinf bottle or tumbler, and always bringing a shopping bag wherever you go, because we cannot deny that most people can shop suddenly without planning, therefore with the preparation brought there will be no reason to shop using plastic bags
- Reuse
Reuse is a concept for reusing materials or products that are no longer used into raw materials that can be reused, One example is used tires but not everyone is able to make them, but with confidance and creativity they will definetely be able to make them. Many crafts can made from used tires such as plant pots, transh cans, and chairs, Not only can it be made with crafts but it can also be used as a business opportunity, because not everyone can process craft materials with capital from used tires.
- Replace
Replace or replacing the use of an item is the concept of using alternative goods that are more environmentally friendly and can be reused. Examples include replacing the use of tissue paper with handkerchiefs, maxmizing the use of containers and items that can be reused and replacing styrofoam or plastic wrappers with banana leaves or other environmentally friendly wrapping media.

Replant or Replanting or often referred to as reforestation, is the concept of replanting using inorganic waste. Some examples of this principle are using used plastic bags snd bottels as potting media for planting.
