One thing we can do is reduce plastic waste. My response is about how to reduce plastic waste to preserve it, it is very, very important and we really have to do it so that the surrounding environment is not filled with scattered plastic waste. There are many ways, for example when we are shopping at a supermarket or minimarket, we can bring a shopping bag that we can use repeatedly or one made from cloth. And usually there are many supermarkets or minimarkets that provide it and we just have to buy it, although many already do that, there are still some that use plastic. Apart from the problem of plastic bags, there are also others, namely cutlery made from plastic and straws made from plastic which can be found in food containers (straws), and plastic cutlery which is usually available in rice boxes, etc. Actually, that's fine, but because it's made from plastic, if you throw it away, it takes a very long time to decompose, it takes years for plastic waste to decompose, that's why I suggest that we better bring our own cutlery even though it's available. We must try to reduce or if possible, stop and start bringing straws made from stainless steel and cutlery that can be used repeatedly. And one more thing is to avoid single-use items, for example we can replace bottled drinking water bottles with tumblers, with tumblers we can reduce the use of bottled water or bottles made from plastic and are single-use.
