In my opinion, in this current era, the use of technology is very widespread, such as the existence of social media today which has a very big influence in changing human life, not only that, technology also really hinders productive growth and development for the users themselves, all of this is a very scary thing that can change thought patterns for the worse, because we all know that in this day and age we cannot carry out activities apart from or far from technology, starting from looking for sources of information, entertainment, even means to communicate with other people without meeting in person. The above phenomenon cannot be separated from the term that is endemic in life today, namely "Brain Rot" or what is also called "Brain Rot". This incident occurs because we often use low quality content and loose change, all of which can make our brains not think creatively and critically, this condition is very dangerous because it can have a very bad impact on the users themselves, this incident is a serious challenge in the digital era, social media is very difficult to control according to personal or individual desires so it can cause brain damage which can ultimately reduce a person's quality, concentration and creative abilities, therefore, we as wise students must take the right steps to avoid things like that in the first or most important way, we must Be aware that social media is not the only source of information that can be viewed or shared for entertainment, and we must be smart in looking for sources of information that are more real or factual and of higher quality. Second, we must have a time limit for using social media, for example making an effective and efficient schedule for using social media. Thirdly or finally, we can develop our talents and interests that are not related to social media, such as trying new activities such as increasing literacy (reading books), exercising and playing music. So, by taking small steps like this, we can reduce or avoid brain rot addiction and can maintain our thinking and creativity skills well. And we can also improve the quality of our life to be more productive than before.
