In my opinion, the way to prevent brain rot is that we, as students who use digital media, must be able to wisely manage the content that we deserve. We can prevent this by:

- Be aware of digital consumption patterns: What this means is that we have to recognize whether we consume too much free content such as content on TikTok, Instagram, excessive memes, etc. If we feel easily distracted or have difficulty studying, perhaps one of the reasons being consuming too much small change content, maybe it's time to reduce our exposure. - Create time limits and priorities You can use the screen feature in the mobile phone's default application or system, by setting a time limit for using the cell phone or social media applications. And by implementing rules like "don't use gadgets before bed" - Increase activities that sharpen the brain You can do things like read books, write journals, and share interesting things with friends. Or we can also sharpen our brains by playing games such as chess, logic puzzles, or simple coding. - Implement a healthy lifestyle We can adopt a healthy lifestyle by maintaining a diet, exercising and getting enough sleep so that brain function remains optimal. And we also have to reduce stress by communicating or physical activity so that the brain doesn't get tired easily and looks for instant entertainment. - Combines education and entertainment If you still want to enjoy digital media, look for edutainment, for example watching historical videos that are packaged interestingly or following science accounts that discuss theories in a funny way.

In essence, we can all consume light content, but don't let it dominate or become addicted to the point that it erodes the habit of critical thinking.
