Let It In, But Don’t Let It Make Itself At Home
This is a Response to the Brain Rot wikithon
"Let it in, but don’t let it make itself at home" is a great way to describe how digital media affects our brains. When we overuse, it can cause problems like cognitive decline, mental impairment, and social decline. But like a guest, brain rot doesn't leave on its own—we have to send it home. So, self-aware is the key!
Digital media is like food; we can't control what's served, but we can choose what we want to “eat”. It's not realistic to give up digital media altogether, but it's a smart choice to control it. So, what's a better approach? Feed your digital diet with nutritious content. Scroll with Awareness, don't become a digital zombie. No Phone Zone, give your brain a break. And don't forget to invest in yourself — upgrade your skills and knowledge.
