"Brainrot" is a dangerous disease for humans. It means when the condition of brain activity decreases due to consuming useless content. This impacts all generations, especially Gen Z and Gen Alpha. They tend to keep their hands on cellphones, even while eating or driving. The impact is seen in the world of education, libraries are empty because students rely more on the internet, which provides shallow understanding and risks of hoaxes. In addition, free time is spent "scrolling" without benefit, causing addiction and anxiety when not holding the phone. This indicates that brainrot has become a serious problem.

Betul banget! Solusi? Digital detox wajib! Misal: screen time maksimal 2 jam/hari buat medsos, sisa waktunya dipake buat baca buku fisik atau diskusi langsung.
