To reduce the negative impact of digital media on the brains of the younger generation, we need to adopt a balanced approach. Parents and educators must guide children in using technology by limiting screen time, encouraging physical activity, and teaching digital literacy so they can sort information wisely. Additionally, encouraging real-world social interactions and practicing mindfulness can help reduce digital addiction. Digital platforms also need to be more responsible by providing healthy and educational content. With this approach, we can take advantage of technology without compromising the mental and cognitive health of the younger generation.
