BASAkalimantan Wiki is an innovative culture and communication-based digital platform that developed from BASAbali Wiki and BASAibu’s 2019 initiative. This program aims to contribute to involving young people in political issues to improve the welfare and livability of the city where millennials and gen-Z live. It also strives to build awareness to preserve regional languages so that they remain strong and sustainable. Wikithons provide opportunities for young people to give their provide input and responses to public issues through the BASAkalimantanWiki.org. platform, where possible in the local language.
BASAkalimantan Wiki is run in collaboration with two communities in South Kalimantan, namely Akademi Bangku Panjang Minggu Raya Banjarbaru and Sanggar Belajar Mahabbatun Nabi Barambai Barito Kuala along with the BASAibu teams (BASAbali Wiki and BASAsulsel Wiki).
