Let me introduce myself, my name is Luthfia Syahira Satriawan from class 9 digital. On this occasion I was asked to write about the condition of the earth. But, what does the condition of the earth have to do with the photo above? therefore let me explain. plastic waste. Plastic waste is the earth's biggest enemy now. Maybe it seems trivial, but if we look around us, there is almost always plastic waste, right? Whether it's used food, drink or other packages. In fact, the total weight of plastic bag waste in Indonesia reaches 1,278,900 tons per year. As of July 24 2024, data obtained from input from 290 districts/cities throughout Indonesia recorded that the total national waste pile had reached 31.9 million tons. That's really a very, very fantastic number, imagine millions of tons of plastic waste. Then, we as students can do small things but can have a big impact on reducing this waste. by using plastic wisely, such as using recycled bags when going shopping, reducing the use of plastic bags, and of course always throwing rubbish in the right place. Because the plastic waste that we throw away will take a very long time to decompose. Therefore, let's start now to protect our earth, by using recycled bags.
