**Brain rot** is a condition of declining cognitive ability caused by excessive exposure to shallow media on social platforms. Useless and repetitive content can lead to mental fatigue, loss of motivation, and behavioral changes. It is important to limit screen time and choose high-quality content to maintain mental health. Our brains are slowly rotting due to overconsumption of low-quality media. Endless scrolling, shallow content, and absurd humor weaken our thinking ability. Instant information replaces critical thinking, making us more easily distracted and less focused. Instead of gaining knowledge, we become trapped in a cycle of empty entertainment. If left unchecked, this "brain rot" can strip us of creativity and analytical skills. It’s time to be more selective about the content we consume to keep our minds healthy.
