so the brain doesn't become dull
This is a Response to the Brain Rot wikithon
The younger generation is a generation that is greatly influenced by technological advances and social media. Or in today's slang, social media. Indeed, it provides many benefits, but if it becomes a habit of using social media, it can cause something bad for our brain health. Including disorders of decreased brain intelligence, which is now known as "Brain rot" or "Brain Decay"
Brain rot is not only exposed to the younger generation. But children, parents can also be exposed to it. Like watching unclear content for a long time, useless. Scrolling too much, makes our brains decline. No longer feel like socializing with people around the house, just because of watching content for too long. Especially for us women, if we watch too much content, even housework can be neglected. And because of watching content continuously, it can make our brains dull.
Well, here I have some ways to prevent brain rot that makes our brains dull:
1. Control yourself.
We can control ourselves when to hold the cellphone and when to put it down. And don't watch useless content that is not good.
2. Delete unimportant applications. The more applications we install, the greater the desire to use them.
3. Socialize with people. Don't just socialize with people on social media, but the good ones are with people in the real world. For example, with neighbors around the house. Even if it's just sitting in a stall, even if it's just eating instant noodles. Hanging out at the guard post/community post while playing chess or watching TV at the guard post while talking.
4. Increase activities outside the home. Doing activities outside the home can also reduce us from watching too much low-quality content.
For example: - Join a literacy group - Help parents in the fields - Exercise. Either traditional sports (pencak silat, playing balogo, playing batungkau) or running. - Gardening in the yard. - - Fishing. Fishing is one activity that can train our brain to concentrate. - Join an art lover community (such as painting, dancing, making masks). - Explore the natural world (for example to the mountains, exploring rivers with a raft or to a waterfall). While exploring nature, while seeing the beauty of nature. - Take courses or training - Join school activities at school (such as scouts, drum bands)
5. Train your brain. Training your brain can also reduce our brain dullness, such as: - Reading (books, newspapers, magazines). Filling in crosswords or better known as TTS.
- Learning a new language or word. Well, if we are Banjar people, we can learn to spell Banjar words that we don't know yet. This activity can also keep us from holding our cellphones.
6. Use social media for good things. For example, watching cooking recipe content, making cakes. Watching gardening methods and techniques. And also this social media can be used for us to sell online. Participate in social media competitions such as photo competitions, poetry competitions, and short story writing competitions.
So, brainrot which makes our brains dull is a big threat to all of us. What initially only wanted to see, over time makes us forget and become addicted. Understanding this brain damage is the same as preventing it. As we know, the brain is a very valuable asset. So let's take good care of our brain health, because brain health can determine our lives in the future. If not us, who else?
