SEPERTI YANG DIJELASKAN OLEH DANIEL KAHNEMAN DALAM BUKUNYA THINKING, FAST AND SLOW (2011), KONSUMSI KONTEN CEPAT MEMPERKUAT CARA BERPIKIR IMPULSIF DAN MELEMAHKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR MENDALAM.

CARA MENGATASINYA MENURUT SAYA: 1 MENGURANGI KONSUMSI VIDEO PENDEK – SAYA RASA PENTING UNTUK LEBIH SELEKTIF DALAM MENGONSUMSI KONTEN AGAR TIDAK TERJEBAK DALAM POLA PIKIR INSTAN.

2 MELAKUKAN OLAHRAGA ATAU YOGA – BERDASARKAN PENELITIAN HARVARD (2020), AKTIVITAS FISIK DAPAT MEMBANTU MENINGKATKAN FOKUS DAN KESEHATAN OTAK.

3 MENJALANKAN HOBI YANG MELATIH OTAK – MENURUT SAYA, MEMBACA BUKU, BERMAIN MUSIK, ATAU MENULIS BISA MEMBANTU KITA KEMBALI TERBIASA BERPIKIR MENDALAM.

PENDAPAT SAYA, JIKA KITA MULAI MENGURANGI KONSUMSI DIGITAL BERLEBIHAN DAN LEBIH BANYAK MELAKUKAN AKTIVITAS YANG BERMANFAAT, KITA BISA MENJAGA KESEHATAN OTAK DAN MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS HIDUP.. 🙏

WHY DOES OUR BRAIN EXPERIENCE "BRAIN ROOT"?🤔

IN MY OPINION, THE HABIT OF WATCHING SHORT VIDEOS NONSTOP MAKES OUR BRAIN ACCUSTOMED TO INSTANT STIMULATION, WEAKENING OUR FOCUS AND MAKING US LAZY TO THINK. AS DANIEL KAHNEMAN EXPLAINED IN HIS BOOK *THINKING, FAST AND SLOW* (2011), CONSUMING FAST-PACED CONTENT STRENGTHENS IMPULSIVE THINKING AND WEAKENS DEEP THINKING ABILITIES.

HOW TO OVERCOME IT, ACCORDING TO ME:

1. REDUCING SHORT VIDEO CONSUMPTION, I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT TO BE MORE SELECTIVE ABOUT THE CONTENT WE CONSUME TO AVOID FALLING INTO AN INSTANT GRATIFICATION MINDSET.

2. EXERCISING OR DOING YOGA – ACCORDING TO A HARVARD STUDY (2020), PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CAN HELP IMPROVE FOCUS AND BRAIN HEALTH.

3. PRACTICING HOBBIES THAT TRAIN THE BRAIN** – IN MY OPINION, READING BOOKS, PLAYING MUSIC, OR WRITING CAN HELP US REGAIN THE ABILITY TO THINK DEEPLY.

I BELIEVE THAT IF WE START LIMITING EXCESSIVE DIGITAL CONSUMPTION AND ENGAGE IN MORE MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES, WE CAN MAINTAIN BRAIN HEALTH AND IMPROVE OUR QUALITY OF LIFE.
