In my opinion, the best way to reduce plastic waste is to reduce the purchase of food or drinks that use single-use plastic and by bringing your own bottles and food containers, this aims to reduce the amount of plastic in circulation on a regular basis. If we examine further the problem of plastic waste in Indonesia, it should be of concern to the government according to okezone.com. Indonesia is ranked 5th largest waste supplier in the world with 65.2 million tons of plastic waste per year with only 8% of plastic waste being recycled. This shows how inadequate it is. The use of R3 and waste banks in Indonesia is different from Japan which has 84% of plastic waste that can be recycled. Therefore, we must improve the performance of waste banks and better implement the 3Rs, namely Reuse, Reduce and Recycle
