Preventing Brain Rot for Indonesian Students
This is a Response to the Brain Rot wikithon
Preventing brain rot, or cognitive decline due to over-consumption of superficial and uneducative content, can be done by actively building structured and in-depth learning habits, such as reading quality books, taking intellectually challenging online courses, and discussing with people who are knowledgeable in various fields, as a brain that is constantly honed through critical thinking and problem solving will remain sharp and developed, In contrast to brains that only receive information without further processing, which tend to weaken in analytical and reflective thinking, it is important to limit exposure to instant content, such as short videos that do not provide educational value, and replace them with activities that stimulate thinking, such as writing essays, solving logic puzzles, or learning foreign languages, because by doing so, we can maintain optimal thinking power and avoid the negative effects of brain rot.
