Indonesia is one of the ten countries in the world that produces the most waste. Talking about waste, it has certainly become a habit for people to produce waste. Plastic waste is the most common waste we find everywhere. Plastic waste is waste made up of inorganic materials made up of chemicals that are difficult to decompose. So it is dangerous for the environment of living things.
Here are our efforts to reduce waste: 1. Separate waste according to type 2. Manage waste banks 3. By implementing 3R (Reduce = reduce, Reuse = reuse, and Recycle = recycle)
3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) is one of the best ways to manage and handle plastic waste. We take the method here is to Recycle or recycle. Therefore, by changing waste into items that can be reused, it can help reduce environmental pollution. Utilizing waste into handicrafts is a fairly good solution, materials can have a selling value and can be created into items that have aesthetic value. One of them here I give an example of is a Lantern from Aqua glass. Because used Aqua glass drinks are very easy and we can find them everywhere. Especially when used for weddings and other celebrations. The materials are: - Scissors - Wire tape - Aqua glass about 134 pcs - Solder - Spray paint - Cable and Lamp
How to make it - Wash and drain the Aqua glass - Make a hole on each side of the Aqua glass with solder. If there is no solder, you can use a nail heated with a candle - Assemble the Aqua glass that has been perforated with wire tape to form two circles. The first circle is 20 glasses. 2nd circle, 18 pcs 3rd circle, 15 pcs 4th circle, 10 pcs 5th circle, 4 pcs - Then assemble by stacking the circles to form a half circle - Combine the two half circles with wire tape to form a ball. - Spray paint / color according to taste - Can be given lights inside or not
Well, that is one way we utilize plastic waste. By indirectly we also support the "GO GREEN" program. In addition, it can also be a business opportunity. Because saving nature starts from one of the small things in ourselves.
