Bayang akan bila bumi kita ni isinya ratik plastik.kada tabayang, amun melihat kabalakang nini kai kita bahari mamakai daun gasan membungkus makanan. Amun melihat kuliner banua banyak yang serba badaun pisang. Ka pasar mamakai bakul. Minum baandak di botol atau kendi. Karupuk di andak di toples kaca atau di wadah bakas khong guan. Tapi wahini jarang dah urang mamakai bakul, wahini baplastik kresek atau tas kain. Wahini kananakan membuang bungkus jajan sambarangan. Kaya apa mengurangi sampah plastik dimulai dari kita, dari ulun dari pian. Amun sudah kita mulai insyaallah bumi kita barasih dari ratik palastik.
Apakah kalian pernah membayangkan jika seisi bumi sudah di penuhi oleh sampah plastik?
Membayangkannya saja sudah mengerikan apalagi jika sudah melihatnya langsung. Dengan ciri khas plastik yang tidak mudah terurai ia berdampak besar dalam perusakan bumi. Yang di mana butuh ratusan tahun agar sampah plastik dapat terurai secara alami.
Sampah plastik dapat mencemari bumi, hal ini bisa merusak kelestarian bumi kita. Sebenarnya penyebab terbesar meningkatnya populasi sampah plastik di bumi adalah akibat dari manusia itu sendiri. Padahal dirinya akan merasakan dampak buruk itu, namun ia juga yang merusak tempat tinggalnya seolah olah bukan dirinyalah yang tinggal di bumi ini.
Untuk membantu mengurangi kadar sampah plastik di bumi ini. Kita harus menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab dalan diri kita dan menjadikannya kebiasaan yang tidak pernah kita sesali. Membuang sampah sembarangan merupakan tindakan buruk yang sering manusia lakukan. Yang dapat merasakan dampak buruk itu tidak hanya manusia saja namun makhluk hidup lain dapat menjadi korban dampak dari sampah plastik.Tidakkah kalian pernah melihat rekaman yang beredar di media sosial bagaimana kondisi hewan laut yang menjadi korban dampak buruk dari sampah plastik. Sangat memprihatinkan bukan.
Karna itu kita harus mengurangi populasi sampah plastik di bumi kita. Misal dengan tidak menggunakan produk sekali pakai hal ini dapat membantu mengurangi populasi sampah plastik. Kita juga dapat mengaplikasikan perinsip Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Mengolah sampah plastik menjadi sebuah karya juga dapat mengurangi populasi sampah plastik di bumi kita, bahkah tidak hanya sampah plastiknya saja yang berkurang namun kita juga mendapatkan keuntungan dari karya sampah plastik yang dapat kita jual. Selain itu sampah plastik yang menganduk energi listrik yang tinggi dapat di konversi menjadi energi melalui Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah.
Percayalah bahwa usaha kita untuk mengurangi sampah plastik tidak akan sia sia. Pasti hal itu akan sangat bermanfaat entah itu untuk hewan, tumbuhan ataupun hal hal lain yang tidak kita ketahui.
