Digital Detox Collaboration: Smart Solution to Overcome Brain Rot in Young Generation
This is a Response to the Brain Rot wikithon
Excessive use of digital media can cause “brain rot” or a decline in cognitive function among young people, so concrete steps are needed to address this issue. One effective way is by implementing collaborative digital detox, where children and teenagers are invited to collectively reduce social media use within their community or peer groups. This approach is more effective because it is done together, fostering a sense of unity and making digital detox a fun and engaging activity. In addition, parents and schools also need to strengthen digital literacy and encourage creative offline activities, so that children can maintain a healthy balance between the digital world and real life. With these efforts, the young generation can grow into digitally smart individuals without losing their critical thinking skills and creativity.
