I'm deeply concerned about the rampant brain rot phenomenon among young people due to negative exposure to social media. Shallow and addictive content has weakened their critical thinking, concentration, and memory skills. "Digital detox," while not a silver bullet, can help mitigate these harmful effects by limiting exposure to damaging content and providing an opportunity for the brain to rest and recover. However, what's more important is instilling awareness of wise and responsible social media use from an early age.
