Brain rot is a decline in cognitive function due to excessive consumption of low-quality digital content. It can lead to difficulty concentrating, processing information, critical thinking issues, increased stress, and technology dependence. To prevent this, students can reduce unproductive social media scrolling, engage in cognitive activities like reading or joining writing communities, practice digital detox, maintain mental and physical health, and diversify their learning methods to stay effective and avoid boredom.
