In today's digital era, social media has become an inseparable part of the lives of the younger generation, especially Generation Z. From completing schoolwork to ordering food, everything can be done easily via mobile phones. However, we must be aware of the negative impacts that arise, such as brain damage characterized by decreased interest in learning, lack of focus, and dependence on content that is often only entertaining. To overcome this problem, one effective way is to limit the use of social media. I suggest not using your mobile phone for more than 5 hours a day. In that time allocation, let's use it to interact with people around us, do outdoor activities, or do activities that are beneficial to society. This limitation also gives us the opportunity to sort out content that is truly useful and increases knowledge. Personally, I am committed to not getting caught up in dependence on digital devices. By limiting the time I use my mobile phone every day, I can focus more on interacting with family and friends, and exploring hobbies that I like. Every morning, I make it a habit not to use my mobile phone immediately, but to finish my homework first. In addition, I also try to choose constructive content and reduce exposure to less useful information.
