A digital well-being approach can help individuals manage technology use in a healthy and productive way by: (1) digital detox by limiting social media use and replacing it with physical activity or reading; (2) implementing time limits on technology use, especially before bedtime, to improve sleep quality and mental clarity; (3) maintaining in-person social interactions to strengthen cognitive abilities and social support.
