Now, here are some tips for those who want to reduce the habit of watching aimless videos:
1. Reduce gradually. Start by cutting down five minutes, then gradually extend to 10, 15, and even 20 minutes over time. 2. Make a schedule. Just like studying has a timetable and subject changes, apply the same principle to the content you watch. Set specific times to avoid overconsumption. 3. Talk to yourself. Try explaining what you just watched. If you have a friend or family member around, share the content with them. This helps improve speaking skills and sharpens critical thinking. 4. Write down what you watch. If you don’t feel like talking, just write it in a notebook, even in an old one. At least it serves a purpose rather than just collecting dust in a drawer or on a shelf.
That’s just a little opinion from an ordinary high school student. Remember, study with discipline, or at the very least, try some of the suggestions written here. Hopefully, the younger generation of Banjar can reduce this habit. Apologies for any mistakes in writing or for using too many words. It’s natural for humans to make mistakes—we’re only human, not robots, right?
May we all be blessed in this world and the hereafter. My sincere apologies, and thank you to the BasaKalimantan team.- Affiliation
